Not sure if it's been asked but does the vehicle you choose affect any attributes to the cars?

Or tyres for that matter.


I like the van because of the taller height meaning I don't always scoop the ball sky high.

The vehicles are all the same except they have different hitboxes. I imagine the different toppers might affect the hitbox too, not sure tho.
 
I think I have found my niche in this game. Goalie.

Stay back and wait for the right time to clear loose balls, blocks and even score the odd goal. Although need to pay attention to people trying to ram and blow you up !
 
Today is a day of flukey goals, but i'll take the credit whatever the case!

Not many of my psn friends play this, so tend to be billy no mates playing MP solo, so add away if you need a old codger on your team. :D

That's the best way, but that require someone to do the dirty work and fight for the ball in the corners, which is the tedious part.
 
Loving this, add me if you wish. Scored six goals in one 3vs3 game earlier. Then got pumped 5 - 0 in the next game lol.
 
This game is weird, when I play with randoms I seem to do better because Im less interested in covering holes in our gameplay. When I play with people I know I just stink as I feel compelled to do more teamwork which just seems to over-complicate things.

Its really bizarre as its obviously more fun to play with people you know, but just disappointing when you keep playing badly when you know you can do better (and yes its more me than the game!)

I had a guy keep doing that to me, or at least twice then it clicked what he was doing.

I can tell he is coming and where from though from just sound of his engine alone with my 5.1 :D

I just jump when he gets close, he never got that 3rd hit lol

I would have powered up and jumped up on the 4th and got you. :D

I just played a match where everyone was named ********** - are these PC players?

PC players should have the Psynet icon next to them I think instead of the PSN avatar pic. But I've also noticed certain names are **** out. I thought it was maybe user names on PC that were OK, but are not allowed on PSN so it replaces certain parts with ****?

Reason being because when those players scored (pre-patch) it would display their proper name on the replay!! There were certainly some that were lets say, not Politically Correct at all!
But that's just a guess based on what it seemed to be doing to certain names I came up against
 
I've sent friends requests to manwithjam, Windle and anythingbut66. Will send one to Soulja85 too. We're always looking for more folks to play with and Rocket League is great fun!

I love how the team becomes ball greedy. The number of times I have a clear shot at an open goal and then a team member comes crashing in... GET OUT OF MY WAY. :D
