*** Rocket League PS4 Thread ***

I dont care if Im ****, still having enormous fun - starting to prefer 2v2 and 3v3 mostly

Find it so hard to judge the ball in the air - miss so many!

And yes the subbed AI is so annoying - devs have said theyll will be looking at it.

I''m not any good either :D. Last time I had a few good games and one game I was dominating, this guy sure could see something in me. He ended up inviting me to his group and we did some 2v2's. We won probably 90% of our games with him carrying me most of the time, but the communication was top notch.

We used the commands in game to talk to each other, so we say who defends and who goes up and all that. If I was going up and the ball was heading back, I'd race back and tell him I'll defend while he starts pushing up field.
 
stuck at work so i wont get to play tonight but i havent touched batman since getting this, its such an addictive game and a top 'one more go' game.

Im still waiting for the 500km trophy and unlock all items and it will be my second ever platinum.... unfortunatly online doesnt register distance so im showing as only 14km on my tyres despite being level 18... i cant be bothered to race around in circles while the AI fight it out

I got it at about 80km as I had played a lot of seasons before ever going online.

I stopped playing vs Ai for good about 15km short though, so figured I'd just use the elastic band method to finish it off at times when the console was on for something else.
For instance when I used it to play music while doing a couple hours of housework - the console was running anyway so I stuck RL on and it got the trophy for me.

But that would take ages still if you're a way off. I only did it because I was close. I'd have thought they'd patch it so online counts (retrospectively)
 
This is such a fun game, and you can just put it on for a few games and switch off, you don't have to commit a lot of time to it. I had a great few games last night and scored some epic goals. One was an awesome header with 1 second left on the clock! First game in ages that has actually put a smile on my face.

That's why I like it to. Granted haven't been on it much because of playing Dying Light but will be back on it soon enough.

I'm happy with having 30 mins to an hour and haven't even raged quit (yet) even when getting smashed lol.
 
I'm still playing this like but haven't managed to get many games in with others so far.
I've all but give up gaming forever now (except souls of course) but this is something that's very fun and I can just play for 15-20 mins before moving on.

Scored a bunch of aerial goals the other day and got loads of hate messages again saying I have no life! haha.
It's hilarious getting them when I'm 99% sure I've got a far more fulfilling life than those sending them.

I mean there are 3 buttons to use in the game, it's not like you need to dedicate loads of time to it. I just happen to be fairly decent at it. I scored 3 goals for them to annoy them even more.
 
Yea I'm still keen to play with people on here too, so if anyone notices me online just drop me an invite.
Been playing online ranked 3v3 mostly now, pretty good fun, even with randoms - just the number of people that quit during the game is a bit much.
 
I was playing online last night and had an issue where all my unlocked items got wiped and I got reset back to level 1. Tried logging out and back in but didn't fix it.
Anyone had the same issue? Mildly annoying! :mad:
