no matter what he did, he didn't deserve to be beaten half to death by a bunch of racist cops, who were part of a wider institutionalised racist police force. Look at the Met and the London riots, police all over london target young black mails, its very similar, except no one has YET to catch the met beating the **** out of a black kid, calling him the N word

Police is still massively racist today, just look at the stop & search figures.
Why are blacks 7 times more likely to be stopped than whites? Doesn't make sense.

What the police did was totally wrong but going wrong taking the law into your own hands because they where acquitted is a joke.
 
Didn't you see that homeless man beaten to death recently? they're going to fire the cops apparently. They murdered him in cold blood and that's all they get.

To play devil's advocate, if the majority of a particular crime in a particular area - say street robberies - are committed by young black males then what do you do then ?

The police should either stop its stop & search program or treat both races the same.
The problem is that there are loads of black teenagers being targeted by the police when they have nothing to do with gang crime.

Unfortunately when institutional and State racism is so ingrained into the national and local psyche it takes excessive and shocking action to make people sit up and listen to you......policies and coverups that create distrust and divisive situations between largely segregated groups is often impossible to voice an opinion against unless you can bring that opinion to the wider world......

Sometimes a desperate people do desperate things......

So when the law (state enforcement) has just shown itself to condone & cover up these actions at all levels, what do you expect people to do, who have they got left to legally complain to?

Don't forget, we support and incite civil unrest in other countries with corrupt systems and then call the protagonists freedom fighters..

99.5% of all stop and searches don't find any weapons though.
Even though it might reduce weapon carrying, it still creates racial tension and if you visit these communities they say they are targeted by the police.
