Yeah the motherboard stocks are bad, at least we both have decent enough PC's still so we can wait!
Yeah true I don't mind waiting but don't want it to be too long the excitement is slowly dying when I see all the other bits just sitting there

Ive only used the 8 pin as didnt have a 4 pin connector.Hey guys, this has probably been asked already but got a question with the 8+4 pin CPU power connectors..
Will there be any problem in just using the 8 pin or should I get an adaptor for the 4 pin too in future? I will be overclocking but nothing over the top.
Thanks,
Yeah, just don't put the SOC voltage above 1.2.it sounds like a lot of the problems have been worked out and its "unbrickable"
Nope, you are all good. you can overclock on just the 8 pin as well. Will there be any problem in just using the 8 pin

There is stock of the CH6, just not here. Mine is coming from Germany, 3-4 days delivery. PM me if you want details as I don't want to p**s off OCUK.
get the 0908 bios from ASUS website, rename it to C6H.CAP and put it on a USB stick. Plug it into the USB BIOS Flashback port and hold the BIOS Flashback button for 3 seconds while the machine is powered off. That will flash the bios to 0908.Just setup mine today and im getting the error b2 displayed. I am also getting no display any idea how to fix this?I have the 1700 and the following ram https://www.overclockers.co.uk/team...nnel-kit-black-grey-tdpgd416g3-my-076-tg.html
the current 0908 bios is a nightmare for overclocking. My 3.8 OC works fine one day, then when I switch it on the next day, it refuses to boot. Currently im sitting at stock until it "warms up" enough to run my OC again.

Thats the one, sorry I got confused. That bios apparently eliminates a potential motherboard bricking bug.I could only see the 0902 and that did nothing for me
it'll just be a memory compatibility issue. If you can try a different kit, maybe Corsair Vengeance or something, it'll most likely boot up no fuss.No problem, not sure what to do then. Looks like it'll have to go back
