would it not be better to come up the night before, travel lodge etc. May cost a litttle more but would make the meet more fun perhaps.

That's what I said a few posts back. Maybe make a night of it. Either go out on the town for a couple of drinks or go bowling.

Cheers for the Pub info Andy, found it again in the end couldn't remember which junction it was off the 62!

Roads today well......... The Weather was shocking loads of standing water the place was a mess stopped in the pub for an hour or so with a mate had a pint and then continued around the roads, we had a rain fog combo going on and i almost shot over our famous junction!

Lets hope the weekend we go the weather is better, basically no-one on the roads so most corners could be cut, provided they had a dashed line down the middle of the road that is!
