It was all about Rooneys pockets and he has screwed over the club for a few extra thousand which he probably would have got anyway if he did it the right way and signed a new contract.

I never liked him anyway but this just confirms what sort of person he is.

In his defence though, if Utd want him to score more then they are going to have to pay him more for his hookers :p

I'm honestly staggered at the amount of Mancs that think this was some sort of master plan by Taggart :o

There's no way in hell that he'd accept being publically undermined by a player and imo, there's no chance in hell that the Glazers would change their plans at the club because a player's thrown a strop.

It's alright, let the 'Pool fans carp on about this whole situation, it'll help them take their minds off how **** their own team is.

Rooney is a **** for what he's done, and as others have said he has to earn back the trust of many United fans. The only way he can do that is by scoring goals.
