JB would be great for a year and give Mercedes a proper amount of time to get a young driver in.

Indeed.

Grand Prix in French means Large Prize. In French, the plural of Prix is Prix, but as the adjective, "Grand" must agree with the plural "Prix" -- Thus, the plural of Grand Prix becomes Grands Prix.

FYI two Grand Prix.

Grand is invariable because it is capitalized since it is part of the term "Grand Prix". if it was grand prix without capitals then the plural would be grands prix
