Rosie Jones

Some might say that making comments about someone’s physical appearance that may be a result of their disability is the wrong side of acceptable and is de facto bullying.

Bullying is to their face isn't it? This is more like gossiping imo. Like a bunch of old dears at the local tea room discussing the new Bingo host with a cleft pallet, he's such a dish from the neck down. Proper swooning until I look at his face.

Disability or not, it's a valid observation. Tell me I'm wrong.

I watched an episode of The Weakest Link over the Christmas period featuring one of the most unattractive sporting people this country has ever produced. This person looks like they fell out of an ugly tree at birth, hit every branch on the way down and was attacked by a badger when they were laying on the ground.
Luke Chadwick?
This threads getting really weirdly OTT even by my not giving a **** standards :p

Last post is a photo of Rosie Jones, so clearly still on topic.

There’s not many funny female comedians. That’s not being sexist, just fact. To say Rosie Jones isn’t funny isn’t being “ableist” either, just the truth. Comedy is all about timing.

Awful comedian. I respect anyone who is able to get on stage and talk in front of thousands of people because can't even talk in front of 20 but the respect ends there.

For my tastes, I like my comedians to be able to bring me along a well told story with perfectly comedic timing. I feel like whenever Rosie talks I'm being dragged over a bed of nails and the end result is never worth the journey. She's one of the people that will make me change the channel when she's on as I just don't find her entertaining or funny. It's not even a case of it's so bad it's good, it's just bad.

I have the utmost respect for her doing what she is doing and even more so with a disability such as hers. It's nice to see people getting on and living a regular life. Though if I'm to judge her exclusively as a comedian? She is trash tier and I hate myself for what I'm about to say but I do believe if it was anyone else telling her jokes no one would be booking them.

If she was a public speaker or similar then yes I could deal with that, but not a comedian. As an audience you must just be pity laughing for most of the set, and probably finished the joke in your head before she has too.

The wife and eldest have just informed me they don't want me making a noise while Call The Midwife is on later.
I've just informed them there's somebody on it and they might turn the TV off :)
They are still guessing who I'm on about.
