Roy Hodgson

liverpool only have 3 decent players and if they dont play they will not win anything
Torres has been missing even when he was in the world cup
gerrard has been injured and now banned
pepa reina cant win you a game
carraga was a good player but his legs have gone
the future does not look great
Beaten by a very average man u side (i know they are top of the league but still very average )
if i was kenny i would be very worried as the americans are in it for the money so no big transfers
mike ashley does not seem that bad after all

as well as losing alonso - a huge part was arbeloa leaving - he was consistent and a solid right back who although not very attacking was defensively much better than johnson and could cross in a ball or two. However, his leaving has to go purely down to JC's attitude im afraid. As well as he has been a great servant to our club i think its time we looked elsewhere and replace him.

A big problem for LFC is team spirit - there looks to be no unity or camaraderie within the group - and im sure its characters like JC who dont help. what he did with arbeloa in that game was a disgrace - and since then he himself has been getting worse and worse. Its like because he is a liverpudlian he has the right to behave like that and get away with it - im sorry that just doesnt stick and no one player is bigger than the team. i think i remember babel saying there were 3 distinct groups in the team - spaniards, english and the dutch!

Its all well and good throwing yourself into tackles like JC does but our defenders have to be able to play football in the modern game - i can guarentee Dalglish will stick with Agger no matter what as there is no doubt he has a sweet left peg and is accomplished on the ball. Being able to bring the ball out of defense and play a pass takes so much pressure off the midfield and allows the team to press forward - this will be so important over the next 3 games as gerrard is missing. I would be happy if we go for a kyriagkos/Agger partnership, skrtel is the worst defender i have ever seen and is always at fault - he needs to go back to school!

I guess my point is - look at Man Utd and Arsenal for example - SAF and AW manage to get them into a cohesive group -even in their post match interviews they are joking around etc.. The 'togetherness' they seem to have really means a lot and as a result they fight harder and achieve results. SAF has managed to get a group of average players (only vidic and nani (this season) are probably world class IMO) to play amazingly as a team and has been able to do this for years and years. The quicker we get back to being a team the better we will be.

King WUM?

The Americans who have already vowed stadium plans, just spent 300 million on two red sox players and actual have a record of keeping their word, unlike h&g.
Future with Pacheco, reina, Kelly, suso. And still have Lucas, meireles, insua will probably come back, Johnson, agger.

JC's 'passion' is rather abit up his own are, you're spot on about Arbeloa, but in the correct team Johnson can be good.
JC is passed it by a long shot.
Also ever see the interview on .tv where carra said he'd leave if he was a squad/bench player. So much for all the passion he feels for our club, or when he refused to play right back. Carragher is only a teamplayer if he's in the team and I'm on the fence to decide if I respect him.

If he's Purslow's buddy and forced Rafa out and got Roy in he can sod off.

I hope they are a right back and a striker.

Hurhur
Kelly is fine
Striker I'd agree with.

Was more a joke than an insult, I can respect united is a great club, although if you're over six foot those seats are a ******* to sit in at OT, some prawn sandwich **** infront of me complaining my knees were touching his back, odd that I've seen united play so much.

Will it be a joke if I call you all theiving ****ers?

Depends

Also mine wasn't really a personal insult???

Did I say it was?

Insulting other peoples teams on here isn't tolerated.

My point being that if you continue to call our players by comical names and call our stadium a toilet, you must be prepared to take it back.

Have you ever been to Anfield?

Unless its Man City you mean? :p Insults are unfortunately quite free flowing on this board, especially at teams without ten+ regular users waiting to pounce on any untoward comments.

I've never had a go at Man City?

I call them Gypsys but that's about it :p

Yes, unfortunately i must admit i've been to old trafford more =<

Well its not like Gerrard hasn't got a bashing on here or any other club at all for that matter, see quite a bit of bashing at times.

We've insulted Biz a fair amount but rarely City....he does sort of bring it on himself though :p

People always couple Gerrard and Carra together but I don't believe for 1 minute that Gerrard played anywhere near as big a role as Carra. He started valuing his opinion too much and getting in Purslow's ear. Great servant but has tarnished his reputation over the last 18 months.
