I'm careful of what I post in Motors because I'm sick of the endless questions from the detectives and people making assumptions and whatever else.

If I had caused a multicar pileup and had injured several others you would have every right to do so.

I didn't, I had an accident, it was my own fault, nobody was hurt, or bothered the only person put out by it is me. Leave it at that.

In fact it would be interesting to see what my head makes after all that work on it (runners mainly).

Sounds weak in isolation but it's as much about the car as it is the power. What car do you have?
 
Renault 19 16v is the main one (as in sig, but red in colour) 1.8 16v 4pot, i'm doing an engine build but its taking a long time and fair amount of money, got bottom end rebuilt just waiting on tappets for half built head then I can bolt it down.

Then snow melts, and I can have fun putting it in.

Whenever for me, just give me some notice so I can make sure i'm free, I wont be running! Conanius different venue if you can get somewhere cheaper?
 
I guess the venue is fine and allows comparisons to previous runs.

It just seems like they make a disprortionately high amount of money, over 500 quid for two chaps to spend 3 hours there on a Saturday morning seems pricey, a solicotor would charge less even :eek:

Well thats the business isn't it, if it sounds attractive get into the industry and set up shop.

IIRC Surrey Rolling Road for example are £20 per car - £50 gets you a private 45 minute session rather than 10 minutes at PS for 15 quid less?

Sounds a lot better - sod powerstation if we can do it for £20 elsewhere.
