Company in wanting to make profit shocker

to be fair the rolling roads I know of charge around £20 per run up to about £25 so £35 seems a little heinous for what is in effect about 10 minutes on the rollers including getting the car on the rollers, setting it all up running it and getting the car out again

*not that it really matters to me as I wont be running anyway!*

Like I said I've no personal experience of Surrey RR but other people on forums seem to rate them, and if they are a lot cheaper and potentially in a better location (slightly more central than far west?) maybe better idea?

It's pretty poor that PS have upped their prices several times for us as a group.

I vote Surrey, it's cheaper and closer to me.

With it being pretty close to me I know a few good roads/pubs round here as I'm sure Howard does.

I don't mind either way, I'll be running and I'm happy to drive to PS but if they have upped the price despite our continued support then it can't harm to try somewhere else out.

A few of us have printouts from other RR's so could compare the accuracy (to see for example if PS are over/under reading).

Might be able to get decent wheel figures too, I know the PS ones seem to get the flywheel figure pretty accurately, but when 4wd cars get 300bhp at the fly and 9bhp at the wheels it just looks odd on the print out :p

I'll pop along wherever to spectate, won't be running

I can do any time but would much, much prefer sometime in April. My car will be very, very close to finished by then, quite possibly sporting a new head + lumpy Cams.

And me

;)

There's a few reasonable roads nearby, Virginia Water/Windsor etc, we could hoon to Virginia Water and go to the Wheatsheaf pub/restaurant

I dare say it's not very 'central' though as a location, sucks for the more northern folk :(

Peerzy, do you use MSN?

I think changing to a more central location may encourage more folk from the eastern side of the country/north due to good routes in too! Possible mention of Herts RR seems fairly central for most! Although I do only hear good stuff about Surrey RR.

Surrey is just too far IMO, Powerstation was just about right for the Manchester lot, but adding another 75% of the distance on top, nah :(

Hertz would work for me, know I'm new to the scene but would be good to see the cars and find out how much difference this exhaust makes to standard! Ps would be manageable also. Surrey is just too far!

All of this is down in the South East though, which isn't very central really. It's a fair way to come from the Midlands, let alone from the North and it's a fair way to come from the South West too. So really, it basically suits those that live in the South East.
