I love that display you have in the case, can I ask what it is?
Just picked up a 5080 FE to replace my 3090 FE, surprised how much smaller it is. I haven't done much testing yet but looks like it's around 30-40% faster on average. I will probably look at the 5080 Super if it releases with more vram, and if it's available.

Oooohhh. I don't normally like the Noctua brown scheme, but this kind of works for me. 70's vibe! You could do a superb wooden case panels build with this style...

Der8auer did a video on this, he even replaced the fans with cheap Arctic's, then Corsair ARGB's - the Arctic's achieved the same temps as the Noctua's with only a 2DB difference. So as usual, Noctua are just ripping people off.
You may as well buy or 3D print your own shroud/mod a stock one, and fit some Arctic's.

I currently have a trusty 6800XT Nitro+ but the demon itch to upgrade is always in the background 
if I can get a good price for my card I may be joining the club soon enough

The PNY card is huge, only just fits in to a Corsair 4000D with the rad in the front. Very cool card, my last card topped out at around 73c and the 5080 is 63c.

Really didn't think I would be part of the middle aged man leather jacket club again so quick. Anyhow got a Zotac infinity amp installed at the weekend and just a quick oc with +300 was giving me 3185 on average and a max clock of 3240 stable in squad and with 2000 on the memory, and it didn't even break 40c in my loop either. Gonna push it some more, but I am surprised at how much power left on the table.

Nice. I've got the same card and pretty much got the same result in benches. What clocks you running for 24/7 gaming?

Well i guess i am now in the club i bought a GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 Master ICE 16G. They are a massive card, and boy is it heavy. Just got to wait to get my RAM, then my new pc is ready.

Gosh that is one fugly card. I hope it is quiet! Having said that looks really don't matter with video cards it's all about the performance.

Just an FYI, I'm playing the Frogfoot at the moment while deciding whether I want to get a HOTAS and pay for a specific plane (or Flaming Cliffs), and the 5080 runs it super smoothly so far (albeit this is just in SP missions, and backed up by a 9800X3D).
Oh don't worry, PS5 huge price increases are coming too (so is Xbox), but then again Sony pulled from PC releases completely it seems and will focus only on their console nowadays, so you might also get nice exclusives.
