RUBIK CUBE - Anyone know how to do?

Me too, the Cube is a black art to me, although this post...

...has given me a eureka moment.

What you got smacked in the mouth by Stan Collymore?

Oh you mean THAT Eureka :o

It took me about a month to complete my Rubik's Cube...

I shall never do one again!!

I've seen videos of people doing it with 1 hand blind folded in insane times...How is that even possible?? Brain Power!

nah not brain power, just lots of practice

We have a contractor at work that solves it in about 20 seconds every single time, we try to jumble it up as much as possible and he literally just takes a look at each sides then spins the hell out of it and solves it. No idea how he does it

That's because there are about 3 or 4 algorithms to remember for solving any 3x3x3 cube. You just need to evaluate the cube to know which stage you're at. A lot of times you're just looping the same algorithm to prepare the cube for the next stage.

That's what I vaguely remember from solving mine anyway. Mine isn't even mine, found it on a Rubiks Cube night at a club and it became my trophy, perfect hangover cure.

Many many years ago, I learned a method to do it and could manage it in around 45 seconds or so. I can still manage part of it from memory but to complete it, I have to go and find the notes.

yeah its just three or four algorithms that need to be remembered. easy with practice. a cube can only be a set amount scrambled anyway.
