Ruddy inconsiderate cat owners...

Yeah, really irresponsible. Look at all the chaos they're causing! ARggh!

Why should i care less about your pet passing away when I cannot stand cats. Also cat owners ultimately don't care about their cats crapping everywhere as your statement above clearly demonstrates.

And you wonder why I want to shoot the ruddy things.
:D

Nobody is taking this feller seriously are they? He's obviously one of them pathetic types that'll post all kinds of rubbish just to get a reaction out of people, he's best ignored.

So why did you reply then?

I can't stand birds either, I don't shoot any that encrouch onto my land. I would be arrested, and you would be too.

Squiffy, I have not shot any cat. All I am saying is that they annoy me that much I want to shoot them. I know it is illegal, which is why I mentioned that in my very first post.

There is a huge difference between wanting to do something and actually carrying it out. Is it beyond the cat lovers to understand the frustration that their animals cause by crapping everywhere.

I'm just taking solace now in the fact that at some point today, a cat will be taking a nice long steaming dump in his garden. Give him one from me Moggy. :p

I will be waiting iCraig with a rock to whack it's little head in with. :)

All these little cat owners letting their pets crap in other peoples gardens. Not one of you have come forward to say they would collect their cats crap if asked. Merely defending your little flea rags saying they keep down the rat population (they don't) and saying they don't know its my garden like that excuses them of all responsibility for what their pets do.

Cats crap is toxic. You are risking my health by allowing your cat to crap in my garden. If I cannot legally shoot them then I whole heartedly believe that I should be able to prosecute the owners of their pets.

If you think that you have the right to let your cat do its business where ever it wants and anyone who gets annoyed at your cat crapping on your lawn is just being sad then all you are doing is demonstrating is that you are totally inconsiderate. Claiming that people should be banned, or need their head testing because they are fed up with other peoples animals crapping in their garden also demonstrates that you couldn't care less about anyone other than yourself. And that your little fleabag of a pet comes before anyone else. Sad.

If it was legal I wouldn't hesitate to fill the little flea bags with lead pellets. Keep control of your pets if you don't want them to get hurt. If you can't stop them crapping on other peoples lawns then don't start going up in arms because someone else will stop them.

Ruddy inconsiderate cat owners. (And I was right. Just look at you all)

We've already answered all those points before so:

You haven't answered all of them at all.

You cat owners are just as bad as the dog owners on my other thread who think they have the right to let their dog off the lead and crap all other over the park.

Just a bunch of ignorant inconsiderate idiots to be honest.

Dear lord,

Are you cat lovers still trying to convince yourselves that it is perfectly acceptable for other people to clean up the mess that your pets mess which is actually dangerous to their health and toxic?

How about I buy a dog and train it attack your little cats if it dares step paw in my garden. And when my dog does a turd how about I pick it up and sling in it your garden with whatever is left of your fleabag from my dogs ravaging.

IMHO we have absolutely no moral high ground to tell an animal where it can and can't go for a crap!

You can if that animal belongs to someone. If I bought a goat you wouldn't mind if I let it **** on your front path. Yeah right. Course you wouldn't.

We've been ****ing in the woods for years, what on Earth makes you think it is any more dangerous than the complete non-danger it has been since the dawn of evolution?

Where did I say it was MORE dangerous? You introduced that in the argument, all I said was it is dangerous to pick up cat **** and I don't see why I have to clear up the **** of someone else's pet.

I have no qualms at all about wild animals pooing in my garden. Just inconsiderate pet owners who feel they can absolve all responsibility for their animal. And get all up in arms when I say I want to kill their spawn of the devil for repeatedly crapping on my path. LOOK AFTER YOUR ANIMAL then.

Your argument is absurd  What next, shoot all birds as bird crap on cars/property is completely intolerable?

Did you not read my post? I don't have a problem with wild animals. In fact, I have never hurt an animal in my life, and nor would I. However when you have put your shoe or have to pick up for what feels like the millionth time someone else's cat **** then you do feel like killing the little buggers.

My main issue is with the owners of said animals who think that they can let their animal do whatever they want with complete disregard to the rights of others. Hence the reason the thread is titled ruddy inconsiderate cat OWNERS and not ruddy inconsiderate CATS.

There are far too many cats in this country. They are not native to this country and therefore should really be classed as a pest. They have served their purpose in the past to guard grain from small rodents. I probably wouldn't be so annoyed if it was the odd cat pooh here and there. But it is the sheer number of cats in our area which is more than enough to tip you over the edge.

People should not be allowed to have animals if they cannot control where they crap. Other people have rights too. We are not talking about wildlife here, but other peoples property. They are responsible for what their animal does. And the fact they seem they can shrug that responsibility off makes my blood boil. If that means that no-one can have a cat, then so be it. Either that or people should control THEIR animal better.

lol are for serious mate? no really are you?

you think cat owners train their cats and tell them "uh ohh crap time, quick go next door and **** all over his garden"

no, in fact have you ever tried to train a cat to do anything? thats the wonderful think about cats, they do what they want and are capable of that unlike dogs which are just retards

Then you should not have a cat then. Why should I accept that YOUR animal craps in MY garden and YOU want do anything about YOUR animal. The least you could do is come and collect it. Your the type of rude and ignorant and inconsiderate cat owner I was talking about. You don't care about my rights NOT to have YOUR animal come and use it as a toilet. YOUR the type of person that makes me want to shoot your bloody cat, just to teach YOU a lesson.

Nitro_Junkie said:
actually I do care, but stop yabbering on about your rights for cats not to crap in your garden, what about my rights to own a cat and not have you tell me I shouldn't

So your rights supersede mine?

Are you really such an idiot that you honestly think it acceptable to shrug your shoulders at someone when they point out your cat has **** all over their garden?

Anyway as funny as this thread is getting, could we please have a don close it and give the op a suspension for a few days ?

For complaining about cats poohing in my garden? Typical animal lover response. never accept responsibility and if ignoring the person complaining about their animal doesn't work, try and silence them instead.

Lets have a couple of suspensions for personal attacks that were unwarranted whilst we are at then?

dun said:
Op you obviously don't like crap on your garden which I totally agree with. But posting on rspcuk saying you want to headshot them isn't going to stop them or generate any helpful advice.
.

Point taken, dun.

So I will say this, and I will never venture on this thread again

looking at this thread and the dog owner thread I can see a certain pattern forming whereby the cat owners can never accept any responsibility for their pets. They certainly need to understand someone letting off steam without launching into personal attacks on that person.

Perhaps I did make a rod for my back by saying BAM headshot, but by that point I had been insulted enough that I thought it warranted saying it just to **** them off. In hindsight this was probably only made me look bad.

All I can say is that cat owners are far more inconsiderate that dog owners.

Considering how all the cat owners other than VIRII are unable to see that they are being unreasonable, selfish and inconsiderate by being unable to accept that it is wrong for their pet to crap in my garden I have decided on the most humane approach I can think of.

Having done a little research I have decided what my garden needs is some plants around the border of my lawn.

Daffodils are a good bet.
Some branching ivy.
English ivy
Mistletoe
Onions

I am considering sprinkling apple seeds all over my lawn as well. I believe these plants are quite toxic to cats. ;)

Therefore I now accept it is perfectly acceptable behaviour to allow their cat to crap everywhere in my garden. I have no doubt that the same cat owners have no issues at all about what plants I decide to grow in my garden.

Your cat will be perfectly welcome to venture in my garden and leave its little toxic waste parcels, but it does so at its own risk and has to risk getting a little toxic waste back at it.

Oh, the joy. I am off down to the Garden Centre first thing tomorrow armed with a list of toxic cat plants and to find out what i can realistically grow in my garden.
:p

In all honesty I am on the lookout for plants that are going to deter cats rather than injure them. Although I might throw the odd toxic plant in, for good measure.

I understand from rumours that cats cannot stand mint plants and other pungent plants. Perhaps a border of these would stop them coming in. Although I imagine I will be getting complaints from my cat loving neighbours about the stench wafting across from my garden... lol.. ;)
