You know, in my defence as a decent human being, the one thing I've never bothered to do is go into threads just to have a go at someone. It's of no interest to me, I have better things to do. It doesn't particularly bother me, but why are there so many people coming into this thread to do that? Are people's lives or jobs so dull and empty that they feel the need to spit so much venom? Serious question.

Let's look at this a bit further. I personally haven't sworn at anyone. I've been very composed. I didn't swear or shout at the driver. And I've even admitted in this thread I shouldn't have had a pop at the driver.

I've been called a terrible model human being and have been called names by members here who presumably regard themselves as model human beings. I have no intention of reporting anyone either, feel free to say what you want to say.

But does anyone see the hypocrisy or is it just me? At the risk of boasting, and I don't mean it to come across like that, I'm 'probably' a nicer person than a lot of you that are slating me. :)

I am convinced you are trolling now. Thread is crashing and burning.
We need the DPD driver in here for the rescue.

Fair point and I don't know why I posted as a question as I still basically stand by my argument.

Nope, that doesn't work here. This is not about two mates or two strangers in the pub arguing with each other where an eye for an eye is fair game. This is about employee v end user. As Adam said, he didn't remain professional. I'm happy for you though, and so many others in this thread, that the standard you expect as a consumer is so low.

As far as I can see he did remain professional. You complained as to the lateness of the delivery and he merely offered to return it to the sender if such lateness had changed your mind on the purchase of said item. Nothing unprofessional whatsoever.

It's obvious this thread has struck a nerve and now you've realised you've shown yourself up.

Just accept it, get the thread closed and move along!

you posted in GD. what did you think was going to happen?

Incredibly doubtful. DPD are a very large company.

I'm pretty sure they can simply type in an employee's name and find out if he works there. They might even be able to find his phone number on that directory, or even his address. Hell, they might even know where he is at that exact moment in time

I don't doubt that, but I just don't think its very likely that you could send a webnote to DPD and get the driver who delivered OP's package pointed towards this thread. I'd be surprised, lets put it that way. :p

I'm pretty certain that every active member (except 1) has voted against you, Merlin.
