That game was ruined by the Ref though, more stop start than union so many petty penalties but at least he had the balls to send Mathers off and not put him on report.

But any win over the Pies is a good win, should have put more points on the board though. Still don't think the Wire will reach their full potential until they get a decent goal kicker too many points and I'm sure games will be lost because of our dodgy kicker.

Indeed, thats the record this season of 28 penalties in a game. you have to love Ganson hey!

Agreed, and before this game Hicks was warming up by kicking - and he can kick so maybe he would be worth a go!

EDIT: I actually meant Wigan have NEVER won at HJ, even when they played Cat Dragons in the CC last year :D
 
Ahhhhh, Mr Ganson, what a ******! When they played the CC in Cardiff for the first time he was in the same hotel as us and was all over this young lass (i think he was a substitute ref for that match!) and was 2 sheets to the wind, some of my mates were messing around videoing him on their phones and he went ballistic about it. Was rather funny to see him stumbling about!

Anyway, go on the Wire, not satisfied with anything less than some silverware this year!

With regards kicking, yeah, we do need someone more consistant, though i am even beginning to question Mr Briers in the stand off role, maybe he would be a better 'super-sub' and look for a quality international 6 instead. (Yes, i am biased, as the many times i have met the guy i just cant bring myself to like him!)

At least refs have a sense of humour - my mates set up Ashely Klein when
wires were playing in france, the video was VERY funny :)

When ganson is at the HJ he always makes a point to walk over and talk to the
fans that get there really early - which is quite nice.

Couldnt go to this tonight :( Missed a cracker! Watched it on SkyHD though and wow Leeds were very impressive :D What a game!
 
Bradford really took a hamering tonight, anyone see the Leigh/Salford game beforehand? Was most comical with the wet and muddy pitch!

Aye condtions were awful in leigh. Leeds game was a cracker :)

Roll on 3 o'clock as the giants get a hammering :D

Aye, usual for me, **** briers off and he has a good 'un! I think he stalks me in the virtual world and waits for me to say something derogatory about him then turns in a good performance to make me eat my words!
 
Last thursday was great, except for the £40 taxi home from Leeds.

Listening to Hull FC/Leeds on R5 now :)
 
Was looking awesome in the first 30 then disappeared a bit, really should have gave them a right hammering! The more and more I watch Leeds the more impressed I am with them :)
