while i like both sports i think the obvious test is
"If both sports had their world cup final on at the same time which would you watch" (assuming your team of choice is playing in both)

I dont follow either religiously, I will be keeping an eye on how england do in the world cup next month, but i much prefer to play/watch a good game of rugby, its more of a mans sport IMO, probably because I could play it far better at school than i could football.
8 a horrid position 
I hope to play some games there next season, it's got to be better than prop, I suppose loose head isn't so bad, but it's ruined my right shoulder. Very satisfying when your opposite man goes off with a sore neck/shoulder/head That'll mean I've played everywhere in the pack other than hooker. I just need to get fitter, much fitter!

I like both Rugby and Football, They both can be great to watch and both can be utter pap to watch.
Coming from Wigan Rubgy use to be your birthright but the Warriors are a shadow of the 90s team, now Latics are turning the town into a football pad.

Having said that the atmosphere in Bath on a match day is awesome. Just don't do what I did and walk through Bath one saturday with a wasps shirt on, not realising Bath were playing at home. Got some funny looks
