Rules regarding swearing

It's just common sense, surely?

Generally, don't swear. If theyoutube video you post contain a million swear words, it will probably be deleted and you may get a slap on the wrist. On the other hand, videos with swearing have probably been left alone / not been noticed because the swearing isn't the main part / thrust of the video or the swearing is somewhat insignificant. Even then, the mods reserve the right to remove it - it's at their discretion.

Simples :p

I've never seen the point in swearing or insulting on here. You can get across your views without such clumsy jibes.

Suggesting common sense is all well and good, but when there's such incredible inconsistency with regards to what is and isn't edited, infracted or suspended for means that common sense is difficult to apply.

clearer guidelines for both members and mods would be a good idea.

It's okay, part of the OcUK way it seems.

I posted a rather controversial post in the biker forum, got sworn at, and then got a holiday. The person that swore at me got nothing, yet my post didn't contain swearing, just an opinion.

Yep after one of the other members got a sus for a personal attack that was nothing of the sort against a Don, I reported a similar incident. Funnily enough nothing was done.

You can get a warning for something, find the same occurances. RTM them and nothing gets done.

There is a Don now that has the attitude of any debate with him has to end on his terms or you are trolling or attacking him. I really wish the feature where I used to be able to have Dons on ignore wasn't removed :D

88.56% of them are doing an excellent job though. One though they are going to have to suffer because they can't reel him in :D

I just leave it to the swear filter... I just assume if its spelt correctly and not filtered automatically to *'s then there isn't a problem with it. Otherwise why have it in the first place.
