Agreed

The GFX market is so dull at the minute...
Yeah. I ended up having to get another Pascal card reluctantly in the end a few weeks ago. Volta probably won't be here any earlier than March, maybe even as late as June. Luckily I found a nice deal for a 1080 so I can enjoy gaming with my new G-Sync monitor :D

Shame Vega turned out to be a big disappointment as I waited ages for that. In the end it made me sell my Freesync monitor and go G-Sync lol.

I don't see any mining benchmarks yet though and that'll be what determines what happens with demand for the 1070.
From the videos/graphs so far it mines Ethereum like a GTX1070 and Zcash like a GTX1080, once people have figured out how to tune them they will probably beat both so best of both worlds for a price in between.

Interesting. Either way, it doesn't set an entirely new standard for mining, so I would expect miners to still go for 1070s if they're £40 cheaper than the ti.
