The fact people don't want to see dis confirming evidence is enough for me.

There are a lot of angry little men on this forum I'm finding and they tend to be congregating in this thread. Maybe russell brand is intimidating or something?

Is there a bad case of Menvy disease going around lately?
 
when you're resorting to insults instead of answering a straightforward question about a claim you made you clearly don't have much to back up the claim

Even if he can't provide you with a certified copy of a thesis stating Mr. Brand's charitable givings, repeatedly huffing and puffing on such minutiae just gives me the impression that you are more concerned about getting one over the opposition than anything else.

Just make your point and let it go tbh.

Point is I think I understand human psychology a little better, that's the only reason I know why me putting in actual work (me having to go dig for a book / look through it / use google) to argue with some dude on an internet forum is a misuse of my time because if you were really so concerned you would look into it yourself. Ignorant is probably the more correct word rather than dumb.

The fact is your not really that concerned, lets be real..... You probably have some deep seated hatred for the guy and only want something to fuel your fire.

I think Russell brand is doing just fine without me fighting for his honor on the internet, but if I see some ridiculous comment that implies he's somehow committing fraud it hurts my brain.....

since you're not apparently participating in the thread at the moment yet felt the need to comment on how a poster is 'coming across' perhaps you should let it go...

I'm not asking him for a 'thesis stating Mr. Brand's charitable givings'

I'm sure he does give some money to charity

the other poster claimed all profits from the shop were going to charity yet it doesn't appear to be a charity and it doesn't even make the claim that all profits are going to charity on the website - it just makes a vague statement about social enterprise.... so it seemed to be a reasonable question

given the other poster has repeatedly dodged it and resorted to insults right from the start I'm going to reply thanks, whether you personally think this is 'coming across badly' is a bit irrelevant really...

not particularly, I think he is a bit ridiculous and I'm baffled that some people seem to worship him as some deep thinking anti-establishment hero but no deep seated hatred here

I was just questioning the shop, you made a claim I queried it and you went straight into a bunch of insults and some irrelevant ramblings about some guy on twitter... when maybe an 'actually I don't know I just thought it was all going to charity' might have been a better answer

He's not really, he is just asking a question. But I just know there are a lot of brand haters here who would love something to come out that makes him look bad so they can sink their teeth into it.
