It was a decent race, just a pity about Alonso's car. Good podium too. Raikkonen waving to the crowd like he was on strings, and hilarious champagne spraying. It was also good to see Eddie Jordan calling out Toto Wolff and making him uncomfortable.

What was it that made you think it was a decent race? I'm not having a dig, I'm genuinely interested as nothing happened after the restart.
The only notable things were Vettel leaving his pitstop longer and his last minute charge, neither of which amounted to anything.

I fell asleep after the start, then woke up just before the end, looks like I didn't miss anything in the middle according to the lap chart.
For me it was about Bottas getting the lead which I thought was a crazy feat. Then throughout the race there was every chance for him lose his nerve or for his tyres to fade. Vettel did well to push him and make him mess up but I thought Bottas went on to win in a well deserved and honest fashion. I say well deserved given that Ferrari are competitive this season as if similar had happened last year it would have more down to poor qualifying on Mercedes part.
The race was memorable in a Twilight Zone kind of way. Hamilton completely anonymous. I don't recall such a disparity between the Mercedes cars in previous seasons. In terms of narrative I find it really interesting to the season and hopefully it means a bit more rivalry within the Mercedes team.
