It depends on what functions a server host gives you. I'm with playrust.eu and you can schedule updates to happen whenever you want. The only problem is that the server needs to be stopped for it to update which you can't schedule. The update script is supposed to stop it for you but I've only had partial success in getting that to work, I usually do it manually.

Admin controls are very basic at the moment, but it is an area that they are going to improve in the future.

Any news on the update for the server?
 
Well, unless you are paying for server you can't really complain. Migrate somewhere else or play something else for a few days until its resolved. Which is what I am doing.

I am sure there are good reasons its not been done, but it would be great to have more uptime here.

Just finished a 7 hour session on this game with some mates on our new server, this game is so much fun when you play with people not killing you every 2 seconds.
 
just had a few hours on uk1 myself, managed too find loads of wood and stone spawns so got a fair bit of stuff crafted a hatchet, pipeshotgun and the 9mm and taken over someones abandoned place patched it up an set down a sleeping bag

lets see if its still there after work tonight.

carnt belive i didnt realise you could kill/loot all the logged out people.....
game needs a pro tips section i recon lol
 
maybe so but still its good to know they are lootable
hope that the servers are sorted now with the latest patches

quite a lot is possible with quite a small timeframe if in the right place

Is this game a cross between Minecraft & CSS? Or is it DayZ with some building? Tempted to buy it, if it has more building imagination like Minecraft.
