I have headed on over to join up with Ritchie, cakes and nekra. Dumped my supply drop stuff then logged off until later tonight..

On a quieter server Its perfectly doable solo IMO, but its best to make friends to avoid getting raided and killed on sight :) the content is all ok for a solo player though.

I'm hoping they add in a way to easily make changes to your own house, atm without explosives I think you are a bit stuck on making changes.

Not only did my front door get blown up last night, but the doorway went too lol

Think it's time to move and build elsewhere, keep getting raided here :(
 
What woud this game be like to just start now, am I just gonna get smashed by everyone whom I come across, how does one fair with no weapons and stuff when you start. I've been watching FRANKIEonPC playing this and Dayz and they seem like something I'd enjoy.

It isn't difficult to get weapons at the moment, so won't take you long to get set up with a small house and some way of defending yourself.

Wouldn't fancy my chances on one of the official servers by myself though, HG server is mostly friendly.

Just thinking about how to design my house, can you place C4 on any surface or just vertical ones? Ie. if you could jump down onto someones house could you then place C4 on the ceiling and go in through the roof, or up through the floor if it were on stilts?

Place foundation, four pillars, stairs then place c4 on floor :)

Ceilings, foundations and pillars are all indestructible. Rest is good for C4.
