Having played dayz a lot, how fun is rust? I've heard nothing but good about it and its making me kind of itching to buy it!

Can you literally build anything like dayz? Or is there certain schematics you can get?

Building wise you can put as many foundations down as the ground lets you, best to watch some videos on YouTube all questions can be answered there.

Never played DayZ but rust is very good. Haven't met many who dislike it

I know what your saying but only things on there are Wood, Cloth, Torch, Raw chicken, Stone and the Supply Signal which is $10000, so not as if everybody can just turn up and get kevlar and m4's easily

Added you, the bounty thing is just a little bit of fun where you can put money up for somebodies head if they have annoyed you, it takes the money straight away and pays out to the person who kills them

/bounty name amount <<that's the command if you want to use it

My rust updated in background thats why i cant get on, will the server be updated or is there a workaround?

My own modest opinion, so please no personal attacks!!

Rust every time. Have played WarZ, Nether, DayZ(mod and Stand Alone) and Rust. DayZ is only marginally better than WarZ or Nether. In its defence DayZ looks real pretty, but movement and control is clunky and not very intuitive. They have greatly improved the inventory system in dayz stand alone from the mod but it just feels awful trying to run, walk open doors etc. frankly I'm genuinely shocked how people find it fun, but each to their own.

Rust just feels so much 'easier' to play and get to grips with.

/price will give you a list of items, only the basics on there at the minute (stone, wood, cloth etc and the supply drop) not sure on adding too much more tbh or even if people want the buying thing there at all, still trying to find the perfect balance to please most

I know mate, the hosting company are currently doing the update as i type this so hopefully not gonna be too long.

The update is only 100mb so shouldn't be big enough to warrant them wiping the server

I will update here when its back up

this is the update incase nobody saw it yet

What a let down. Was "highly reccomended" this game from multiple people. I mean, yea the whole paranoia thing is a bit fun for a while, but, quickly got boring...
