I'm gonna guess you've placed a pillar in the middle of foundation, all you need is four pillars around the outside of foundation. Unfortunately you can't remove these without the remove tool which admins have but isn't working at the minute

Yep, that'd probably be it. Off to harvest some more wood, and find a new spot I go!

Use that pillar trick to your advantage by placing foundations outside your building and putting pillars in the middle section to stop people building stairs to get on the roof.

That would explain a lot! I saw one or two structures like that and wondered what purpose the extra pillars served.

ive been looking at this for a long time but it doesn't look to have much depth and is too fast paced to do much. is this how people have found it?

I'm guessing people would like this installed?? Not sure about the creating stupid buildings bit so maybe only when needed (building mistakes, griefed etc)

Press the symbol on the left of the server so it goes gold. net.connect ones should show in history as well. Then when you click the right tab give it a few secs to refresh and they will show at the very top of the list:

Right the server starting lagging, so I restarted as I have done numerous times before and it tried restarting but couldn't due to missing files and processes

It eventually restarted and it seems the missing files were people's buildings

If I can't sort this out I'm so soo sorry I don't know what happened, I will sort everybody materials out to sort things out

Gutted!!!!

These things happen but pretty gutted I lost my 2 metal houses I grinded for 5 days to get... The chap has given everyone in game 10k money but that's nothing compared to the grind time. If you could donate materials so I can start a new metal house that would be great.

Got your messages, thanks but spent an age collecting materials, just finished a massive metal house and had 30 C4 saved up along with like 10 sets of Kevlar. Just gonna wait till the game is more finished, a lot of time to waste on a buggy alpha game that can get wiped in an instant. Good server though keep up the good work.

I'm really sorry about it but apparently the majority is happy with the 10k so would be unfair to give you some things and others nothing. I wanted to sort everybody out things they needed to build.

We lost an unbelievable arsenal(120+ c4, large boxes full of m4's etc) but hey ho half the fun is the farming and building

This is the first time this has happened to us and hopefully the last until the next big update which wipes the servers no matter what

Well tbh it is Alpha so it is going to happen no matter what over the next year or so until it hits retail. Even though this was not the games fault (or maybe it was) get used to it over the development stage

Don't worry about it. These things happen in an alpha. I didn't get the 10k but still had enough stock farmed and a bit of cash to build my first ever little cabin. So happy! One of the best Rust Servers I've been on, really enjoying the game again. Keep up the good work Cocky.

Apparently nobody has had 10k, my bad I thought it was dished out. I'm working away so having to do everything on my ipad, and have misread some comms
