I play solo often fella, but I’ve been clanned up before. I’m working on my new rig at the moment, but when I’m on again I’ll happily duo.

Steam is Basher, storm trooper style logo.

Yes mate, I’m a bit of a filthy casual these days but it’s rarely off my play list. About 1.6k hours.

I picked this up on a Steam sale, thought I would give it a go.

I like it but its also a bit crap because im walking around having played it for 15 minutes, you know, with my rock, and some guy in full combat gear and weapons just walks along and kills you.

I dunno....... feels a bit like they should have a safe zone for new poeople or similar because its borderline just putting me off.
 
There are pve based custom servers you can play on. I can't remember the name but there is a UK one where they have monthly maps, and the first 3 weeks are pve, the last week is pvp so people spend 3 weeks building up crazy bases then a week wiping each other out. It was pretty good fun tbh.

I quite like it PvP in a way, it'll keep it getting stale like other survival.

I've found a better server now, one in Canada with pretty low population and I've only been killed once so far.

It was wasn't fun to start with on whatever server I was on, literally walking around with my junk hanging out, smashing rocks together and some dude in full combat gear and automatic weapon ganks you.....

I'm thinking how is there any skill in that?
 
Some people just like to "pwn", Rust attracts those types and other very toxic players.. but it can be quite good fun getting one over them :)
