Ryzen "2" ?

Same pricing as 8700k on here, gonna wait for benchmarks and see how close gaming performance is and whether there are any problems with Windows 10, such as segfault and not going to sleep mode properly.

Asus Prime owners (of any ilk :D ) would I be right in reading it as the best of the "no fuss" boards? Cheaper onboard, no RGB gimmicks, that sort of thing?
Seeing it's got a... fairly solid VRM loadout (10 rather than a ?+? type setup) and the Asus boards were generally considered the best for memory last time and generally pretty good for bios support etc too...

Was going to go taichi but... I might save a bit and take a "functionally basic but otherwise awesome" type alternative if that sounds about the right billing for the prime.

What motherboards look to be decent for a 2700X? I've been tempted by the Gigabyte X470 gaming 5 but having a hard time choosing.

Have had Asus boards for years so fancy a change, though I have admittedly been tempted on splurging on a crosshair or a Gaming 7, even though they seem pretty overkill. Did like the look of the MSI M7 but really dislike the killer ethernet controller.

Will wait for reviews of course but I keep opening store pages for these motherboards and leaning towards a different model each time...
