Ryzen "2" ?

So these are in stock and can be ordered for next day delivery, yet we have to wait almost a week for reviews?

Seriously AMD, I thought you were past this crap.

I purchased 2 kits of Corsair Vengeance RGB 3466MHz CL16 RAM a few weeks ago on a really good deal, I hope they play nice with the Zen+ chips and X470 boards.

I am interested in the CH7 board and it says it supports 3466MHz. Hopefully I can tune timings a bit tighter without a fuss.

Interesting that GamersNexus found different memory kits can have a huge impact on performance, even at the same speeds: up to 20% in AoTS, even at 1440p! Also note that the X470 boards suffer a large performance impact compared to X370 boards because of the immature BIOSs, so I would be wary of any reviews using early BIOSs.
I had written this, just see the screens of BF1 that inserted in the forum
Here 3dmark firestrike video
Look at the voltages

Tempted to get 1700 as need it asap but 2700 sounds more appealing. On the plus side 1st gen will most likely to be discounted to get rid of stock. Been with intel for years and not even considering it now. Will hybernate/fake come until 20th.
See you then!

Some of those results look wrong. 1700x with 2400 memory was faster than with 2933 memory on one graph. Hopefully they can clear that up.

Performance looks Ace though.

If you could run the same tank section trying to mimic what he was doing that would be great, especially if you can hit allcore 4Ghz. 1080p Ultra.

I'm afraid I'm currently running at 3.9, and the screen is at 1440p. But I think it's worth posting anyway for comparison purposes

So that's what was said here a long time ago ...
in default it goes better than what they write depends on various factors ... the motherboard ,ddr frequency, temp. voltages bios eccc ....
It will certainly have a further increase (and not a little) if Amd seriously takes care of the management of frequencies, too conservative to default, management of the scandalously high voltages (default), and compatibility with ddr high frequency.
ddr4 3600 + 10% in game vs 3200

i need to upgrade my 4790K with my 1080ti. should i look at a ryzen 2 or wait for intel 9 series? just wait to alleviate my cpu bottleneck.

Ok about NEW Crosshair VII motherboard
Raja:
No major change for overall 24/7 OC. Just some enhancements/changes that favor certain setups/usage:

1) VRM phase array changed from 8+4 to 10+2. Better thermal balance across power plane.

Thermal imaging tests were conducted with a Ryzen 7 2700X at 4.0 GHz with CPU Core Voltage at 1.43 V.
No other settings than CPU Core Ratio and CPU Core Voltage were changed in BIOS.
The system was then stressed with Prime95 29.1 Small FFTs 12k for at least 30 minutes.
CPU output power was 175W on both systems. Note that both boards are tested without heatsinks (see attatchments):

2) DRAM layout changed from T-Topology to daisy chain. Some advantages for 1DPC, but disadvantages for 2DPC. Obviously, there will be changes to decoupling as a result.

There are more, too, but Elmor and the reviewers can detail all of that stuff when it's time to do so.

Elmor:
There are small differences due to layout changes. C7H is better for 1 DIMM per channel (1DPC, 2x8GB/2x16GB) but only by 1-2 ratios (66-133 MHz), while C6H will reach higher frequency with 2DPC (4x8GB, 4x16GB).
Amount of capacitors for comparison of boards:

Just waiting for them to confirm that for Crosshair VII motherboard You want 2x16gb not 4x8 for beter numbers/performance.
