adoredtv plays up to the Wffc-tech type of reader/commentator with sensationalism, which his opinion peaces are messy ball of contrition mess, using articles of opinion to support his arguments.
I would love to see a Cleanprincegaming type of channel but on PC tech
IBM is the leader who wanted PCs for the consumers. They found Intel as a CPU supplier, but also wanted a second supplier, as how it has to be. AMD turned out to be this second supplier.
There was a written agreement between IBM on one side, and Intel and AMD on the other side, that AMD and Intel would deliver CPUs for IBM PCs. But Intel were so greedy and selfish, so, decided, let's crap on the agreement - we should become the sole, "great and only" supplier of CPUs. Something with intent which hasn't ended till the present day. Intel just could not accept that they will not be just them, but there will be AMD.
This is a fact, how would you call it an opinion with messy bits? WTH?
lol.... it just goes to show how ridiculous these arguments are, one pulls up and Intel winning 3DMark slide that is then countered by a later 3DMark application where Ryzen wins.
So what are we going to take away from this slide then? to use the Intel side argument the 8700K bottlenecks the GTX 1080 more than Ryzen.
It isn't this simple. Let's go deeper into it.
3DMark latest benchmark Time Spy is the only one supporting DX12, and is a true representative of the CPUs performance.
We should not use older ones based on DX11, DX10, DX9 because they will not show the real potential of the chips.
It is like driving an F1 car (Ryzen 7 2700) on a highway with speedlimit 120 km/h.
But, this car is built to run on highways without speedlimit where it will show what it does best.
So, let's just be honest and clarify the truth.
How many confused customers choose i7-8700 based on wrong assumptions and old, unoptimised bechmarks?
This is dangerous and not fair.
