Ryzen "2" ?

Frustrating would be an understatement there.
With my Corsair LP 3200 2x8GB sticks I have, and the price of memory, I couldn't afford to be changing that for a Ryzen build. Thankfully it just works with my 6700k.
I have the 2x4gb version in my AB350N wifi with a 2200g just enabling XMP, well the AMD version and its running fine at 3200mhz
Also have the 2x8gb in my X370 Gaming 5 with a 1600, again just enabling XMP running at 3200mhz.
So I presume a lot of it is fixed now? I find it hard to believe that I would be that lucky twice lol

Yeah, Corsair ones I got from you. :p Couldn't get them stable at 3466 with the 1700X, only 3333. Unsure if the new ryzen timing calc is better or CPU is better. :)

Can you please do me a huge favour? Do a Cinebench run at your current speed and timings, then knock it down to 3200, but leave the timings alone.

I'm really curious what the difference is past 3200 LL, and 3333 with normal latency. Ta :)

adoredtv plays up to the Wffc-tech type of reader/commentator with sensationalism, which his opinion peaces are messy ball of contrition mess, using articles of opinion to support his arguments.

I would love to see a Cleanprincegaming type of channel but on PC tech

He backs up his findings with fact and stats. Which is more than other reviewers do.

IBM is the leader who wanted PCs for the consumers. They found Intel as a CPU supplier, but also wanted a second supplier, as how it has to be. AMD turned out to be this second supplier.
There was a written agreement between IBM on one side, and Intel and AMD on the other side, that AMD and Intel would deliver CPUs for IBM PCs. But Intel were so greedy and selfish, so, decided, let's crap on the agreement - we should become the sole, "great and only" supplier of CPUs. Something with intent which hasn't ended till the present day. Intel just could not accept that they will not be just them, but there will be AMD.
This is a fact, how would you call it an opinion with messy bits? WTH?

lol.... it just goes to show how ridiculous these arguments are, one pulls up and Intel winning 3DMark slide that is then countered by a later 3DMark application where Ryzen wins.

So what are we going to take away from this slide then? to use the Intel side argument the 8700K bottlenecks the GTX 1080 more than Ryzen.

It isn't this simple. Let's go deeper into it.
3DMark latest benchmark Time Spy is the only one supporting DX12, and is a true representative of the CPUs performance.
We should not use older ones based on DX11, DX10, DX9 because they will not show the real potential of the chips.

It is like driving an F1 car (Ryzen 7 2700) on a highway with speedlimit 120 km/h.
But, this car is built to run on highways without speedlimit where it will show what it does best.

So, let's just be honest and clarify the truth.
How many confused customers choose i7-8700 based on wrong assumptions and old, unoptimised bechmarks?
This is dangerous and not fair.

I'm talking about his channel in general, its video moaning about the lack of performance each gen was contradictory while criticising only a single vendor, the videos about gameworks, kepler nerfs, 1030 changes (but glosses over the 560 460 and a few others, that being said he has been a bit more balanced
recently

But I still think he clearly going after the angry fan boys and fans the flames

Doesn't seem to make a huge difference, if at all. Maybe 5-10 points in multi.

and yet the majority of current games are faster on the 8700K, regardless of these old benchmarks being used.
Spot on cause games still run on old tech.
If someone loves and hates amd at same time as me would know by now that:

AMD is always saying theirs stuff will be faster in the future and it is correct.
Problem is by time that future arrives 2-3 generations of cpus and gpus are out. And tech that was waiting for future is ****** and outdated by then.
Amright or em I right??

That's good to know, with the Corsair memory and your builds.
I'm rarely lucky once, never twice :D
