My 2700x and Mobo is coming tomorrow.

Will be my first AMD CPU so it'll be ciao to Intel and hello AMD this weekend :)

Hope i get a good un without issues, wish me luck guys :)

Well You are like PRIME example why one does not buy **** hynix ram for ryzen :) 8pack stuff on top board is plug and play :)

No single core boost not worth it in my eyes after playing around with it :)

Yea the multi score is the important part for this upgrade as i want it for streaming, been running my 6700K at 4.2Ghz just to see how the games i run play without an overclock and i really dont feel any difference, still running smooth, its when i run OBS i get problems so hopefully this will sort things out.

Never used to have many issues until the Intel security patches started flooding in, then the BIOS Microcode update pretty much killed it when using the same OBS settings and preset as i did months ago (720p60Faster@6000kbps).

I just hope that doubling the cores and threads can fix it, we shall see :)
 
Seems that I can hit 4225 all core clock @ 1.381V. Any higher seems to lockup cinebench and/or not stable in IBT. Without trying with a load more voltage.

Also tweaked memory a bit and got a whopping 18 more Cinebench multi points. :p

Aimed for and got... Post 4522. 1972 mc, 182 sc.

But you're right- don't skimp on the RAM with Ryzen!

Not enough voltsss. Pc freeze os nowhere near stable. Error is closer to stable hehe. For 4350 id say 1.425 under load is required. So far I have not seen a single ons stable pass 4275 on custom loops ect. Seen few on phase change cooling

Yeah I don't think I'm gonna get it IBT stable. I've slackened it back a bit to 43x now, where it's been for most of the last fortnight. Does all I need and hasn't crashed yet...

Had my RAM running at 3466 earlier- kept same timings as 3200 though, and despite pootling about Win10 happily enough, didn't like me trying to test it, and bluescreened.
Need to loosen a bit? Sorry, RAM settings have never really been my thing...

Might have a go at 4350 with 1.425v tomorrow for a laugh. I'll let you know just how badly it goes. :)

Im 100mhz on cpu lower and only 4 points lower on Multi score. All tests stable :)

I can break 2000 points no problem but its not STABLE :) After work ill run extra 100mhz on my settings on cb.

Sweet. But why are they bundeling the power profile if it is now redundant?

They should be removed if redundant or stay in if those are the ones to ideally use. :confused:
