Looking at the reviews coming out, for gaming at least the 3700X is gonna be the CPU to beat at its price point

No idea, cannot see, Sunday launch problems.
Our stock was due Friday, it is now due Monday, should be a few hundred, end of the day later you order, further back in queue you are, ordering earlier gets you in the queue and you can cancel any time.

Something I did find out today is that Intels TDP is base on Base clock vs AMD's being based on Boost Clock. Also once my 3700X comes, someone is getting a great bargain on my 2700X
