One thing that concerns me though is the juice that’s being pumped into it. 1.5V at max boost is a lot!

Yes, just screw into the standoffs that are already there. Those silver ones are M2 standoffs. Or at least, they look like them.

Agree with Ross, stay away from the cheap 570 boards, especially MSI ones.
The Aorus elite is a nice board for not too much money. If you can spend a bit more, I’d go for the Taichi or the GB pro.
I have the GB ultra and it’s been great. The first board died on a bios update, but that can happen with any board, especially new tech. The replacement has been flawless though. Great VRM temps, even at max load. I think the pro and ultra have the same VRM though, so either great. I just picked the ultra for the extra M2 slot.

Also, when it comes to RAM, 3600mhz is the sweet spot. Overclockers have got a great deal on 16GB of 8pack ram. £120 is a steal. It’s normally £165.

Plus they all drop in the same way. Top edge closest to the RAM. Just image search X570 motherboard to see the correct orientation.

What’s your temps like today? My H100i is going full pelt and the CPU is still up at 62 with just light office work Normally mid to high 40’s with almost idle fans.
