RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

hi it was
G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-4000C18Q-128GTZR

Thanks - I'm on a similar core build: Aorus Master, 5950x, 128G

I went for the lower quality Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro. It's binned at 3600 C18-22-22-42. I saw some 4000 kit on import at the time I ordered these but at this density I didn't want to have to RMA back to the states if there were any issues.

I've already slapped my sticks into another system to find out what exactly their made of:

So that's Hynix MJR, I assume it's the higher density version of MFR. I _think_ the TFC indicates lower bin too.

There's not much info on this die/density with regards to overclocking but going by Hynix MFR historically I'm going to say that I'll take 3800 OC as a bonus but I don't expect it.

If your chip controller is good do you think 4000 is possible with synced FCLK (assuming new AGESA BIOS) or do you plan to run your G.Skill sticks at 3800 with tighter timings?

Just ordered a 5800x of the biggest online store for £403. Dispatched and sold by them as well. It’s below rrp so happy with that.

Ditto. And I don’t even want one. Shooting for a 5600X. If anyone wants to trade let me know.

Just shows that all retailers need to do is set expectations to keep customers happy rather than a random queue number... Happy to wait until 5th December, or even beyond. Satisfied to just have a date.

yeah I was after a 5600x but it’s £300 and never in stock so for £100 extra plus far cry 6 its worth it. Just need to decide on what X570/b550 board to get now.

They must not have been available for long. Was looking at a high street retailer's 5900X page and it said 19,000 people had looked at the item in the last 24 hours :D

probably all the scalpers. sad that many will come in stock at retailers and staff just buy em stick em on ebay. cant really blame em.
