Reverse psychology, like the season ticket waiting list for my football team, can't afford not to get one because everyone else is buying one, yet will be available quite quickly once ordered.

For £599, it just leaves a very bitter taste for me
 
No chance they sold all those 5900x's, they had 200 to send out and recieved over 1,000. I doubt they sold 800. I think they've realised the price is too high, set it to pre-order and will lower the price the next time it comes back available which will just be this stock again.

They have dropped down to 3.9 stars on Trustpilot now. They are letting their greed run away with them. Even with all their faked reviews on Trustpilot they can't stop the rating plummeting and people will remember this and avoid using them in the long run. Let them enjoy their fast buck for now it will bite em in the ass long term. Only their fanboys will be paying their over-inflated prices in the end because they somehow delude themselves into thinking they are important and loved by this company :)
 
Nope, just here. There is another part (mobo) on the order, but thats showing as instock so nothing should be blocking it going out.

I got the Discord Bot notification at 11.22am today and the 5900x seemed to be in stock for quite some time.

I really hope your delay is due to Christmas, it would be interesting to know from anyone who purchased the 5900x from OCUK today if they already received an dispatch update.

Just clicked the button for a 5800x and Asus b550 strix mobo from another site. Was in stock and at what I would consider rrp! I want the 8 cores to last me as long as possible. 6 just did not feel enough of a jump and might start to feel constrained in a few years. its only £110 extra and that's nothing over 5 years really. I had the 6700k for 5 years and hope this will do the same. eta 31st Dec but also waiting on an AM4 bracket for my cooler so that may be later. depends on the post really this time of year!
still will be a nice upgrade and my old kit will be passed on to family.

still waiting of the NV 3080 here at Ocuk but if prices go up/stay high in Jan ill be patient and wait it out. 3 months and counting but hopefully soon!

Yea they had to pay a premium for grey stock to (not) get stock in before everyone else did, so they have to pass the cost on......

To be fair to OCUK if they sell them and make money than so be it, it's a business and they can charge what they like, you don't have to buy anything from them.

******** reasons lol. They only care about profits and take advantage of the situation. Same thing happened with the GPUs. The price increase was blamed on the £, Brexit..position of the moon..etc. lol

If others with stock have lower prices, then there is no excuse but greed.
