wonder when ill actually feel comfortable building a pc i dont want to end up with some parts sat here and some others not here and then possibly have other parts released while im waiting

i just wanted to put all the bits in the basket hit buy and have them all turn up and put it together... ha ha
I’ve been collecting parts for over a month. There is the risk that one of the parts is faulty and it’ll be difficult returning them... really depends if you have a particular time period pencilled in for building it. If there’s no time issues, you may as well wait until you can get it all more or less at the same time.

ive waited over 10 years so i think i will survive a bit longer, the queue of games i want to play is mounting up though and im holding back on a few that i want to play on higher settings then low ha ha
16 units got booked in this weekend and at present we have no future ETA on any more 5950X or 5900X.
Were doing 5800X extremely cheap at the moment to try and help those out who want a decent CPU.
Great, thanks for the update. I’ll probably go ahead and cancel the 5950x, maybe get the 5800x.

hi Gibbo got sick of waiting for a competitor and just wondered how long after ordering can I expect delivery of 5800x to manchester?
The warehouse is quite behind at moment as things are just so busy, we have 3000 in stock and if you order now your order would no doubt get despatched Tuesday/Wednesday for delivery by end of week.

hi Gibbo thanks for the swift response just wondered as I am an impatient person can I get next day expedited delivery to speed up the process or will I be wasting my money? its just that I only have a few days in which to complete my build before I am back to work

from personal experience recently delivery timeframes are useless ha ha some 1 day coming in 3 days, randomly some 2nd class stuff coming next day lol
how do you go about "picking up" a CPU given that a trip to a PC store is not "essential" in these Covid times?
Because the store in question is less than 1/4 mile from my house and I pass it on my daily exercise walk. Most Online retailers are still operating a pick up system with strict protocols in place to ensure that Covid rules are still followed

i think some common sense can be applied to the covid rules, some things you can do within the rules are worse than some things you cant
