Delta possibly he knew before anyone. I happened to be browsing the forum on phone as I was running some 7950X benchmarks before i switch to X3D and saw he said ordered. Had to do it via phone not ideal but hopefully i snagged one. Waiting on @Gibbo to make a comment. :)

Yeah I was expecting this afternoon. In the middle of a meeting kinda atm which made it awkward haha.
 
Just to clarify, yes you can tune the 13900 for more efficiency, but it's still going to be very very very inefficient in games. VERY. In applications, not really, it's pretty decent, but games, hell no.

Intresting as it would be great if someone disabled one of the chiplets in a review to give a idea of what a potential 7600X3D could have been.

I saw it appear in the list of CPUs and when I clicked it it said notify me. Then I went back a page and it was a green order button so I got it pretty much as soon as it became available. Just right place at the right time.

I have a feeling that 7800X3D launch day is gonna be a big one! OCUK should try and secure a couple of pallet loads I reckon.
 
They shouldn’t be selling them early. I know for everyone else it’s early afternoon. Strange.
