Will be interesting to see if it's a UK thing, or an AMD thing.

AMD "Hey, we promised early Apr, so let's get sales going, even though we can't get CPUs to retailers until mid-Apr"

Or if it's just that UK didn't get stock :confused: Will have to check US / Canada sites and see if they are shipping today; or just pre-selling as well.

Saw on Reddit that some retailers in Canada had stock listed.
 
So I'm planning to try to pre order one at 2pm, but wondering if I'll know whether I've made it into the first batch? Anyone know from experience if this is generally communicated?

We are expecting a small quantity today, but as I expect demand on this part to be insane, I'd rather set customers expectations and that is nobody will get a CPU today. I know a very small quantity is due today across the UK, but were talking tiny numbers, a far larger delivery is incoming later this month where AMD assures me supply will be good, but as always if demand is crazy then even good supply can quickly get eaten up.

Product will be live at UK MSRP at 14:00, pre-order and if all goes well the first 500 orders will be fulfilled this month, potentially as many as the first 1000 but lets see how AMD go against fulfilling my purchase orders which I placed back in January.
