Poll: Ryzen 7950X3D, 7900X3D, 7800X3D

Will you be purchasing the 7800X3D on the 6th?

I think it is extremely unlikely.

They need the X3D to compete with the Intel 13th gen. The recent price drop of the X CPUs looks like they are moving them out of the way for the X3D pricing. Expected to be 7800X3D $449, 7900X3D $549 and 7950X3D $799.

Doesn't look like they're going to be mentioned/launched at CES sadly :( Any new ETA?

All that appears to have been leaked on the popular, usual websites is the 7000 non X range that launch on January 10th, example https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryz...h-january-10th-ryzen-9-7900-faster-than-5900x

Not seen any confirmation of launch/reveal for 7000 X3D parts at CES in the last few weeks, do provide a link if I've missed this.

Hmm could be releasing the none x parts with x3d not a good idea and better to spread out hope we get some information on it , 65w sounds good but more interested in x3d

Do you have a recent leak URL to show X3D at CES?
I think as we are so close we just wait for CES rather than trying to pick through lots of speculation. It’s being reported widely that X3D should be launching in January https://www.trustedreviews.com/opinion/what-to-expect-from-amd-in-2023-4291579
AMD are currently not competitive with Intel 13th gen and aside from the 7900x they are losing heavily in sales. The fact the 5800X3D is currently the best selling CPU means the market is there for it with a new X3D range.

Keynote with x3d , none x CPUs and 7700/7800 graphics cards is quite a lot? So wouldn't be surprised if they left it out to spread it out later

This is CES. They will always bring a big announcement to this so that’s the X3D and then some other minor announcements. When they launched the 5800X3D at CES last year it was the headline, then we had some mobile CPUs, AM5 announcement, 6xxx cards, 6xxx mobile cards and some other minor updates. https://www.amd.com/en/partner/ces-2022-next-wave-amd-innovation

Are you expecting a launch at CES? Or just an acknowledgement that they will release X3D at some point in 2023?

Leaks have already shown official slides showing Jan10th launch for the 7000 non X parts for example, yet nothing for X3D? > https://videocardz.com/newz/amd-ryz...h-january-10th-ryzen-9-7900-faster-than-5900x
