Just did it, didn't have to prove anything.

May retire my i5 750 on some cheaper air cooler and see if I can keep my H50 going forever.

Tried to re-order but the code does not work now, i will just leave it as I have ordered the Asus mobo so should not need it. Would be nice to have one though as I have a H105, H75 and a H100i V2.

I ordered the Asus Crosshair and 1800X on the pre-order night. Hopefully I'll get mine!

Just tried it as well with no luck, happy I spent £4~ on an AM3 back plate which turned up today instead of £12~ on there bracket.

I see it as £4 then it adds £6 for postage and it tells me the code is invalid.

Nope some like the h105 use the standard one that comes with the mobo. Problem is the one with the crosshair is only AM4 compatible for some reason.
