RYZEN DDR4 MEMORY, WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Use AIDA go to motherboard>SPD it will tell you there. My vengeance led are hynix and aren't stable above 2666. I have some gskill 3600 rgb at home I'll fit them tonight and report back.

Yep, hynix here too. Mine is stable at 2933 so not complaining. I paid £120 for 16GB but the 'guaranteed to hit 3200' stuff seems to be around the £200 mark.

Me too, I tried adjusting the bus with hynix ram and even 1mhz wouldn't allow me to post :/

I have found in my limited experience with profiles that changing the settings of them just doesn't work. You have to do it manually. Basically just funky bios stuff making it crash and it isn't the memory that is causing the issue.

Anyone getting to 3200MHz speed without BCLK?

I'm on the fence with motherboard as can see real merits of buying something like CH6 or Taichi as hopefully will be likely to upgrade CPU down the road making a high end motherboard more worthwhile. Not sure if the ability to change the base clock and the other features are worth it or not.

I've got 3200 on a CH6 with gskill 3600 cl16.
The higher boards should allow for higher if you want to mess with bclk

Well, I stuck the 64gb HyperX in, reset to defaults, and got into windows, and managed to start aida64.

Hadn't managed that before. It did die before too long, but was more than I had managed before.

I guess it's worth me troubleshooting a bit longer considering the price I got the ram.

Currently running just two sticks at stock 2400, but with elevated voltages.

If that passes just half an hour of aida64 memory stress, will swap for the other two.

Really dislike this kind of troubleshooting these days though. Gone are the days I found it fun!

Good find. Can't you contact the seller and replace all of them? Assuming you still have your old stuff?

Warehouse deal on rainforest - so can easily send back for refund, but won't get a replacement at same price...

Hence why would like to get a bad stick replaced.

Guess I know why were warehouse deal, but for £320 vs £600, thought worth a shot.

Will email Kingston

Hope you can get a replacement stick as that is a great price.

Well, have filed for rma. Fingers crossed. Hopefully I can get it replaced, but if not, easy enough to return.

Managed to pass 1.5 hours with the other three sticks.
