Anyone here got the STALKER beta? i got it downloading, just wondered what feelings are so far?

Been in it since day 1, the current client runs great and is a lot of fun.

game starts and all i get is sky and one mass grey texture,

I had that. Turning off AA sorted it for me.

Having said that; it runs like a dog for me. 20-30fps and mouse lag on a core2duo at 2.8ghz and and 8800GTS.

edit: thats only with dynamic lighting. Static = 200+ fps

I thought this was like Duke Nukem Forever.

No actually I retract my previous statement, I can't find a beta link without needing a key.

Log In using a GameSpy ID, they're free to get. It gives you a key and lets you download the client. Happy gaming!

I enter in the security code bit then it takes me to the "Please enter your key" page. I haven't received any email at my gmail address
