Who's getting it?

I didn't vote but if I had been given a money and marched to a bookies to bet I would have put half each on Pardew and Mourinho.

I know the latter sounds insane but I'm still waiting for the inevitable meltdown when Abramovich starts meddling too much. It's just going to happen - when not if. :D

And Pardew must have been a hair's breadth from getting the chop when he turned it all around.

A little snippet on the BBC suggesting bookies are now no longer taking bets on Pardew taking over at Palace, would be interesting.

Yeah betting suspended on Palace next manager, loads of money put on Pardew. He's came in from 20/1 to 4/7. Cashley would probably release him as well for a few million :p

All going off now - everyone seems confident that Pardew is going to Palace. That'll say a lot about Ashley and co.

Looks like it will happen then, Toon fans have their wish (I still can't decide :p) so the proof will be in the pudding how we perform when someone new comes in.

Can't believe this is happening. I had just reconciled myself to Pardew staying, now this. Madness.

Frank de Boer would be my choice for a replacement, but he's unlikely to leave halfway through the season.

I bet we get Pulis.

I think Newcastle will do ok without Pardew to be honest, don't think he's bringing all that much to the table. Can't understand him leaving though at all unless there is something we're not hearing about here (like Palace getting some major investment) as realistically the maximum you'll ever get them is lower mid table 10-15 in their current financial situation, least with Newcastle top 8 is possible with the occasional Europa spot.

Who to replace him though, Tony Pulis must be high on the list assuming they're not going for a foreigner.
