Many moronic loud ones yes, we've paid the price.

I don't want him back now, but I do wish he had never been gone.

He can't be worse than Rodgers though surely? Or is it something to do with when Rafa was at Chelsea?

What other viable alternatives are there for a club like Liverpool? I don't think that Liverpool can bring in the top tier managers (or perhaps the owners are unwilling to?) so the only choices really are to take a solid manager from a lesser club or take a punt on another "in form" manager. Both of these have been tried and have failed recently for Liverpool.

backed by certain senior figures within the playing staff

Yep maybe Steve and Jamie did want him gone but whatever its done now and for years, would be quite sad though as he made them into the players they will be remembered as.

I'm kinda done with going back and the abuse he took from some absolute ***** and still does I'd rather not see.

Its less than half a season after we've played the best football I've seen inside the English league and finished second, I don't see why we'd be looking to a replacement yet. That said many mistakes to learn from and correct.

What u-turn? Most Newcastle fans I know, including myself, still want him [Pardew] out.

Why would you want him out?
He has now created a team which has a winning mentality...culminating in them being the first team to beat Chelsea.

For the time being at least, I would not want him fired.

thhink the poll should be reset. how things can change over a space of a month. Pedrew was a game away from the sack

Nah, keep it as it is. That way when Arsenal finish strong we can take a look and see you voted Wenger to be sacked again ;)

Hehehe.
I doubt Wenger will get the sack. He may resign...but he is unsackable.
He will win the 4th place trophy and the Arsenal bosses will be pleased with that.

I voted for Pardew - at the time he was getting so much flack from all quarters, I couldnt believe he could survive. Either the sack or a heart attack. But survive he did.

I do wonder though, will Rodgers survive the year?
He sold Suarez and spent the money on lesser players, who have been useless, thus far.
His team are struggling and he is relying heavily on the aging Gerrard.
Getting rid of Suarez and not replacing him - I think this has to be a sackable offence.
If he was managing in Spain or Italy - I think he'd be sacked already.

Warnock is on the brink of being sacked apparently. I'm sure you're all shocked.

Only 1.6% of votes went to Warnock.
If he does get sacked, we can only conclude that OCUK are terrible at predicting football related matters.

Alladyce, Van Gaal and Pardew, who make up 53% of the votes are all currently in decent league positions and appear to be safe.

I must admit that I voted for Pardew, so I am included in this.

Warnock got the job well after this thread was started so most would have voted already. (3 weeks is a long time for a thread!)

or its because no one gives a **** about warnock

Warnock has been sacked. Not surprised **** manager, **** appointment. Palace only have themselves to blame.

Indeed, it was Pulis' name originally and that was coming off the back of the tremendous job he did last season.

Warnock doesn't count towards the vote imo, if we'd have made a new thread when he joined he'd have probably won by a landslide. :p
