Does the bookmark screenshots in cover flow appear themselves or do you have to visit the website yourself in order to get the screenshot to appear like me?

Do you know an addon that does this please? It seems to be OK in Firefox without an addon when I've clicked open links in new tab, but not on Safari.

Really like the look of Safari 4.

Try this. This one is quite good, too.

AcidSearch is a search enhancement for Safari. It adds unlimited "Search Channels" to the Google search field. Channels can be customized in a nearly infinite variety of ways. AcidSearch also includes powerful features such as JavaScript support, the ability to import iSeek and Butler Search Sites, true hierarchical menu organization, and the ability to search multiple search engines at the same time. AcidSearch also allows you to access your search channels with key equivalents, shortcuts (a la SafariKeywords), and a contextual menu.

AcidSearch is available in English, Japanese, traditional Chinese, Italian, and French. It is compatible with Tiger and Safari 2.0.

Glims offers both of these options however, the first one can be fixed with a terminal command as posted earlier. Unfortunately Glims is not compatible with Safari 4 yet

Hotmail hates it. Messages can't be opened. To be expected, really >_> <_<

I'm personally loving the new Safari BETA, I love the design, and speed of the browser! I can't wait for the actual release of the browser!! And it does suck that you can't use Hotmail, but to be honest it might give me the push to stop using it all together. Loving the top sites pane!!

I'm not a big fan of coverflow - I don't think it's as great as Apple like to make out.

Kind of a sidenote but I'm glad someone else feels the same as I do about CoverFlow

Don't really like the tabs up there, top sites and coverflow aren't really something I'll use.

The most useful thing I really would have hoped would be in there would be firefox-like address field (magic bar) where I can quickly search history and bookmarks and why, still,,, can't I internet search from the address bar?

seems very slick, although i still miss the firefox address bar, but otherwise i look forward to the final release.

A way around it is to go to the 'Develop' Menu then 'User Agent' the chose 'Firefox 3.0.5', works beautifully
I do agree with the comments about the address bar, it's rubbish compared to Firefox, imho. Hopefully there will be some tweaks soon for it.

Thanks for that, but I do want to give hotmail up, I only use it for MSN, I don't even send any emails from the account anymore. Meh but thanks for the advise of how to use hotmail.

Yes! I can't do it in Firefox - highly annoying.

Looks nice, and runs very fast. But it uses a lot of RAM - 200MB with three tabs open on my Vista system - and I'm not sure how Apple can call it 'the most innovative browser ever' when it's a very obvious rip-off of Chrome with a sprinkling of Firefox!

Well I installed it, restarted and it won't open. It just crashes to Desktop which is annoying.

If I get a chance I'll try and re-install but for the time being I'm back to FF.

Try having a look here, it has a fair few useful tricks.
