Can someone try testing something for me?
In Safari 3, opening a new tab will cause the whole browser to drop the width of the tab bar (if you have no tabs running in the first place).
I.e.
---------- ________
I assume that due to this new tab layout (being as they occupy the outer frame) that this doesn't happen?
I do like the steps they're going to with this though. The screenshots and benchmarks look very impressive as they're incorporating the webkit updates, and it's also the first browser to 100/100 pass the acid test
