I loved GTA as well, although if I am honest I got so caught up in my own hype I was surprised at how quickly I got tired of it. Actually, tired is the wrong word, I don't know, I just don't find it fun anymore as much as I love the driving, the physics and the graphics etc.

SR2 just looks like damn good fun so far, and as I said I can't wait to try out the crazy activities.

SR2 is approaching the genre in a different way to GTA. It is like comparing PES and FIFA of old (Like 5 years back)

Oh and yes, there is MP aside from the COOP.

I think you can visit a plastic surgeon to change your character again, but I think it costs you. Not 100% on that.

Got it today :) From the hour or so I can pick a few things from it:

* The graphics need AA badly - but they aren't unbareable!
* I regret picking the cockney English accent - hoping that I can change it in the future :p
* It is no where near as realistic as GTA - it's clear SR2 was going for the more comical approach
* Only 1 hour in and some of the cutscenes are hilarious :D
 
Just got mine for the PS3. It's installing at the moment :(

As I got to the green supermarket, walked into the electrical department and seen a big queue. Realised Pro Evo is out aswell. Anyway. Got to second in line when the manager called out they only had 3 copies left on the 360 (pro evo) and had sold out on the PS3. To which I immediatley turn round, see a BIG CHAV and say, "i'm buying 3 copies" and he believed me. Then I quickly said, no i'm actually buying Saints Row to which everyone had a good giggle at and there's me praying I don't get stabbed. :p

Thought it was quite funny so had to share :)

Graphz aint that bad, and you can change the voice at a plastic surgeon I think.
 
Just popped out and picked it up with the official strategy guide. Now roll on 4pm so I can go home and try it out :D
 
Im not too keen on the game at the minute only played a few missions upto now though. Driving is poor and and im finding the shootouts you can have with other gangs a little bit of a let down :(

Hopefully it will improve, because the music is awesome haha :D
