uuf nasty wonder why all your 360 are crashing. :/

When you break barrier you can only go one way or it resets to old part of map in the barriers.

Does your 360 disconnect from xbox live when you play the demo mine does. ?

Mine disconnects also. I was gutted cos thats when i reliased there was no online feature in the demo!!!

To much despair, i don not like this game anymore after all the good things ive been seeing about it!

I was quite excited about the demo but it has totally turned me off it.

The framesrates were dire, gave me a head ache after a while. It maybe that im used to GTA:SA on a X1900XTX playing flawlessly i dont know.

The controls were awful, im sure whenever i steered to go somewhere there was a millisecond pause from when i moved the analog stick to it reacting.

Hopefully they clear the hiccups up because i really was lookign forward to this!

Went homw at lunch and downloaded the demo, only took 30 mins to come down. Had a 5 minute run around and looks like it could be fun but those cut scenes are AWFUL, nearly made my eyes bleed! I hope they sort that out.

Will have aproper go when I get home from work tonight.

i liked it a lot. Framerates in demos are not representative of the final game. Graphics were slick, audio was funny, reactions of people on the street was cool. Huge improvment on the GTA games from what ive seen, however i dont doubt that Rockstar will do some very cool things in 2007. Till then this will more than do! (as long as they sort out the framerate a bit!)

I've not even managed to download it yet as xbox live keeps disconnecting, i got to 30% downloaded then i got disconnected and it reset to 0% :(

just had a quick 30 mins blast, VERY impressed, this is how i remember GTA VC, fun

the main problem i had with SA was the awful gfx and the fact i couldnt understand what the "gangsters" were saying, well clear gfx and decent voice acting means this is great for me

noticed no slowdown, no tearing, gfx did impress me (after all there will be a huge city) i liked controls (apart from no triggers for driving, they need to fix that) the havok physics worked well and added a nice touch, it was the little touches i liked, slamming someones head off the wheel when you nicked the car, still being able to here the radio when you get out of the car, definate purchase

Downloading the demo now as I type this!

Its between this and Test drive unlimited (as dead rising is on my will buy list).

Hmmmmm so far the responses seem mixed, I suppose it depends if you enjoy the GTA series or not?!

Could be fun with a few people at a guess.
Hope they sort out the frame rates though (may be a little late in the day as its being released in a few weeks or so) ...its beyond a joke for a fixed hardware platform like a console.

Fat demo size! I'll be getting it later on, judging from gamers comments it's worth it.

funny thing i had so far was there was a jeep coming down hill i shot it with shotgun and he swerved flipped up on roof and went rolling down the road hilarious. :D

Also the ragdoll effects are funny some pedestrian got hit by car and went flying. :)

I think all SA was awesome, playing it through again now on PC and can say its a lot better, crisp graphics!

I found that if you watch movies called Boyz in the Hood, Menace to Society and them type of movies you enjoy SA a lot more. You find SA a lot more fulfilling if you watch these movies.

Much like Vice City and Scarface.

Josh

Ill have a go on and have another go on the demo. Im thinking it was that i didnt restart my 360 thats why it was running bad.

Just finished playing the demo, not overly amazing but shows some promise for the full game, hopefully they will make good on their word that the framerate will be sorted out, otherwise it will completely ruin it.

Can't help feeling its a little too much like GTA though.

Not overly impressed with the frame rate, but hopefully that'll be sorted for the final release.

You know full well it wont ;) We always hope that then the demo is just the same. Just played about 30 mins of it. Not overly impressed really.. very choppy and buggy .. not much new here at all :(
