Anyone played the console version and the pc version? Just curious to hear peoples views on the difference

Spent an hour on xbox360 version and fps drops below 25 quite often, but it's still decent and more than playable.

My retail PC version turned up today; reduced loading times, image quality and fps improvements are very noticeable. :)

That is a very nice framerate. I take it you are running two cards? I hit about 40-50 maxed out which is OK. But yeah nice framerates you are getting there ;)

+1 My son has the xbox version and it does have a bad framerate sometimes on the console versions. The graphics looks better on PC, runs better on PC. But the xbox version is very good as well, but if I had to choose it would be the PC version.

yeah both running..

it does drop to the mid 60's when it gets mental but most time sits in the high 70's..

i wasnt expecting it to look as good as it does.it aint no bf3 but still looks very nice...

Think im gonna give this a whirl looks amazing and will give me a break from BF3. Are there any commands does anyone know to cap the framerate? I normally use d3doverider to force triple buffering and vsync but i dont know if my 5850 will be able to keep the game at 60fps. I was thinking of trying to cap it to around 50fps to avoid micro stuttering when the fps drop a little

This is my GOTY so far, I know it won't get anyway near that status but for me it is a huge amount of fun. Had more smiles playing this then BF3 or Skyrim. Just my view on it, it ticks all the boxes for me.

its just mindless fun..i just mess about in cars and that most of the time just booting round everywere..

great game...

Are the graphics good?

As good as they have to be and certainly a big jump from SR2. Nothing mind-blowing technically, it's not Just Cause 2 in the looks department, but more than enough to get the message across in a suitably mental way.

I've not once thought "oooh that is rough".

I'll see how I get on when I give Skyrim a proper go, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up my GotY as well.

The worst thing for me is the car sounds... too quiet and dont give enough individuality to each car. Not a game breaker by any means, just a shame that they were overlooked.
