I wouldn't worry about the preorder DLC. I've had more fun with the character creator and stealing police cars than I have with the mana-pult. It really is nothing but a "bonus" you wont miss out on much at all. Over the next year they have 3 or 4 DLC mission packs to come out, if anything wait for DLC with a bit more substance and story/activities.

About the performance. On full whack I'm getting about 30-50fps out of a 5870 and 955 which is about what I got out of GTAIV, but reasons that are beyond me, it doesn't feel as choppy or sluggish and looks better(thank stock unmodded GTA at least). I'll put on my powerful and stinky overclocks and see what happens.

This game is so good.

My brother walked in while I was playing it earlier and made a comment about my character looking like a French terrorist :D

Brilliant game. Was struggling for money, but as I was driving down I saw a professor genki mascot. I decided to kill him, i ran him over he never died. He started firing rockets at me, it took a lot of ammo but finally I killed him. Now i dont know if its because of the perk that I have (that make people drop more money) but he dropped one wad of cash worth 300,000 :D also it unlocked the annihilator rocket launcher. Happy days. Probably try and buy as much expensive building as possible.

That wasnt a mascot - that was Professor Genki himself :D

Its a bonus amount set in by the developers to kill him... its very rare to find him and takes ages to take him out... if you left him or watched him, he does stupid stuff to the people in the streets :D

But thats how you got $300k
 
Oh anyone been in the Gat Mobile lol

Firing out a flamethrower throw the fag in his mouth and if you do the horn button, it does Gat phrases as you drive along
 
ok firing up for the first time,

will let you know how it runs on the ol' humble rig :).....hoping that the Crossfire Profiles and 11.11 drivers help

pulled 11 hours solid gameplay yesterday, and only one little crash, i'm honestly suprised it works soo well,

Driving is amazing, it feels like a mix between the GTAIV system and the old driving in SR2, not too sure about the drifting but it's really easy.

Only minor annoyance so far is those Oleg clones, christ they're hard even the ones without any heavy weaponry

Currently running Ultra 1080P with 4xAA and MSAA? getting 50fps :D
Oh and 'the penetrator' = WIN! haha

Anyone found any more legit cd websites? The one posted earlier seems to have reports of the wrong CD being sent and sometimes for completely the wrong game, don't really want to risk it for £20.
