Hoddle and Shearer would both jump at the chance.

I doubt Neville would be offered it.

Southgate seems most likely, but he's awful. Behind him I'd say Bruce has a fair chance of getting it, a top level international manager though? Not remotely.

They would do and I thought that's who they should have gone with in the first place, Southgate ruled himself and last time and Gary "the fountain of knowledge" Neville talks a good game but couldn't cut it when given the chance and jumped back on the Sky gravy train as soon as he could lol

in a plot twist, it will emerge that this was instigated by the FA themselves as they new allardyce wasn't the man for the job and didn't want to have to pay him off.

They didn't appoint Redknapp last time around for the very reason Allardyce is going to be sacked and I can imagine the likes of Pardew and possible even Bruce are too risky for the same reasons. It'll be a forgeign manager or Southgate/Howe.

I was actually surprised they were naive enough to give it to him given his reputation along with Redknapp. The thing was, the rumours weren't even just shady internet forum rumours, didn't Panorama(?) do a documentary on it a few years ago with him and Gartside coming out pretty badly?

Yea. It was alleged that he, via his son that was an agent, was taking bungs to sign players.

Surely they can't seriously not fire him with all this trying to uphold integrity etc.
What a complete Muppet he is for doing this. However, I don't think anyone really wanted him as the England manager anyway.
